ROTC IN SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL
Hi im Walter Aguila jr. from liceo de san pablo im im going to discuss about moving ROTC in senior high
i agree about moving ROTC in senior high because its called early dicsipline since they already in senior high its also a like college i agree because students nowadays is not that better than before students today is very easy not working hard not all but almost all i think they need to make a law to move ROTC in senior high and be good in senior high because senior high is like a practice of a college or they make a junior ROTC in senior high ajd senior ROTC in college
Reserve Officers
I am John Vrixten B. Pacia, 17 years old kid and a grade 11 student of Liceo De San Pablo who lives in Brgy. Bagong Bayan San Pablo City, Laguna.
Let me tell you a fact about ROTC, ROTC was previously implemented at the college level, But it was scrapped in 2002 after an investigation showed that a University Of Santo Thomas student was murdered after he exposed alleged corruption in the program. ROTC was later made optional and voluntary Republic Act No. 9163 or the NSTP Act of 2001.
For me ROTC will have its good and bad effects for us. Let me start with the good side. If the mandatory ROTC will be implemented, will be exposed to specialized military training leadership development, fitness maintenance, professional development and team-driven experiences BUT it will consume a lot of time, Our class starts at around 7am and we will be dismissed at around 4pm for me it will be hard for us to manage our time and have enough sleep. Though i am not saying that ROTC is such an awful thing.
So all in all i didn’t want ROTC to be mandatory, it may be optional so if there are students who wants to experience it.

Agreeing in Mandatory ROTC
Good day! I am Janah Rose Ferrer from Liceo de San Pablo, and I live in brgy. San Lucas 2. This is my opinion in the mandatory of rotc.
Does ROTC help the students can make the students being responsible ang discipline?
ROTC means Reserved Officers Training Corps. I’m in favor for this because if we have this we can be ready if there will be a war in the future. For sure,. they will teach us how to protect ourself and how to be more responsible. They train us to protect our country so that our body become more stronger to fight with bad people who wants our freedom. In ROTC you will become more productive, if we have this in senior high the students can’t use only cellphones or gadgets all day, they need to exercise like ROTC you will sweat in this training. But in the other hand, we don’t know that some students have a sickness and to think of it, senior high is a very busy year among high school hand it’s so hard for the students to adjust bescause of their subjects ang projects. But in the end, ROTC is for ourselves, it can help us to protect our family. ROTC open our mind in what will might happen in the future.

Opinion on ROTC being mandatory for senior high students
Hi everyone. My name is Angela Paula M. Calleja, I am 16 years old and i live in San Pablo City, Laguna and also i am a General Academic Strand Student from Liceo De San Pablo.
Reserve Officers Training Corps also known as ROTC is a extra curricular activity where students are trained as a soldier for them to be ready at any cause. Does it really have to be mandatory? why can it be optional?
I do not agree of the ROTC to be mandatory because some student may not attend to this kind of activity. Yes there is some advantages to this like it would boost our body and health, We can experience being a soldier and we learn how to be discipline but there is some disadvantages that many students don’t agree on for example many students pay ROTC officers for an excuse for not attending the ROTC training. Senior high is hard because grade 11 has 11 subjects and grade 12 has 9 for every semester, you have to pass every one subject and if you fail you will have to retake it next semester. ROTC is just an extra curricular activity that adds up to senior students it may be hard on them because it only adds up on what they are doing.
ROTC is a good thing to some student not all. Some can be weak in this kind of activity or training. There are many disadvantages than advantages if ROTC become mandatory many will complain and cause problem, it should be optional than mandatory. Students must have a freedom to choose whether they participate in ROTC or not

ROTC for senior high school students
Good day! I am Jeanelle Anne Teoxon, Grade 11 from St. Dominic de Guzman. I am taking General Academic Strand since I am still undecided what course will I take in college. I am here to share my opinion about the mandatory ROTC for Senior Higg School student like me.
What is ROTC? Is this important? ROTC stand for Reserve Officers Training Corps.
I do not agree in ROTC for senior high school, because some people abuse their power for being a trainee of rotc. They abuse people because they know that they can hurt them physically without any hesitation or without a doubt. We know that this have the advantage of being a trainee to an army, to have a self defense. This is hard for senior high school students ’cause there too many subjects that they are taking and I think that it is more stressful if you have rotc in your senior high school. This is also good for us but I don’t agree to this kind of activity.

ROTC for Senior High School
Hello everyone! My name is Jillian I. Canaman, a grade 11 student from the General Academic Strand and this is my opinion about the mandatory rotc for senior high school.
What is ROTC? ROTC stands for Reserve Officer Training Corps. It’s a college program offered at over 1,700 colleges and universities across the United States that prepares young adults to become officers in the U.S. Military. In exchange for a paid college education and a guaranteed post-college career, cadets commit to serve in the Military after graduation.
Yes, I am in favor of the mandatory ROTC for senior high school, Why? Because ROTC can help us in military like, we can defend and protect ourselves in any war. It will help us discipline ourselves, ’cause to deiscipline people or students is the main goal of the ROTC program. It is tiring because of the training but we need to learn how to defend ourselves, our country. ROTC programs provide students with significant opportunities and benefits. Participants in ROTC receive valuable training as well as financial support for their education. They are supported in the development of strong personal traits such as self-discipline, confidence, and leadership.
In my own opinion, ROTC is not bad for senior high school students. It is for us to understand things that are connected in military. It is for us to understand what our armys doing for our own country and to have a knowledge about military.

My perspective on having a mandatory ROTC for SHS
Good day! I am John Carl M. Magalang, I am 17 years old and I live in San Pablo City, Laguna. I am currently study at Liceo de San Pablo as a grade 11 student. Here is my perspective on having Reserve Training Office Corps. (ROTC)
About this matter, I agree with having ROTC for shs students. As a student athlete, it is a great privilege for me to have this kind of training because it will help me improve my physique and it will also help me to be disciplined and gain knowledge not only on how to be an officer but also on how you can survive circumstances in life. For example, when there are calamities, you have the knowledge on how you can survive that kind of problem and also how to help others. For being an athlete, it will become my physical activity and boost my self for me to become physically active and healthy. It may also help me to have the knowledge for self defense whenever there is a crime/ incident that will happen to me.
Though this kind of activity isn’t interesting for some, i may suggest that this kind of activity should be optional. We should also remember that everything has purpose.

My opinion about mandatory ROTC for SHS
ROTC
Hi everyone. I am Alexandros John Lagurin, I am 16 years old and I live in San Pablo City, Laguna. I am currently studying at Liceo de San Pablo as a Grade 11 student. So now, i am going to tell you my opinion on mandatory ROTC for shs students.
First and foremost, i do not agree on having ROTC for senior highschool students. Basically, we have 10 subjects and our class starts at 7am and we are dismissed around 4pm and sometimes 3pm. I do not agree with that matter because for me, it will be difficult because i do not have the courage to manage my time especially that my schedule is whole day. It will be a distraction for me and I couldn’t possibly do it because of lack of time since we do have our baby thesis, course requirements and projects. If I’m going to an ROTC, I wouldn’t have time to socialize with others freely and I couldn’t rest. In my perspective as a student, About having a lot of projects and homeworks, i have heard rants about being stressed, not managing their time, lack of time for family and friends and others. What will happen if we put ROTC on shs. It is an another barrier for them to be free.
I can suggest that it should be optional though some may want it because it is also an advantage for them to have the knowledge for circumstances in life. All i want is to go with the flow and not let negativity control me.
